WSTiJO Library

 
The WSTiJO Library has been in existence since 2004 and has collections of over 7,200 volumes.
 
The scientific and teaching book collection is gathered in line with the university’s directions of education and the teaching and research needs of academic staff.
 
These are books in the fields of: tourism, recreation, hotel industry, gastronomy, nutrition, regional studies, ecology and environmental protection, linguistics, translation, economics, management, marketing, law, sociology, social communication, advertising and computer science.
 
The Library has implemented open access to shelves where the collections are arranged thematically. The source of information also includes collected and stored yearbooks, statistical compilations, scientific notebooks and specialized journals. The collections are supplemented by multimedia materials in the form of CD and DVD discs and thematic folders.
 
The Library cooperates with other universities in the exchange of scientific publications.
 
As part of national academic licenses coordinated by the ICM UW, the Library has online access to scientific journals and licensed full-text and bibliographic databases of the Virtual Science Library such as: Springer, Wiley, Scopus, Elsevier, Web of Knowledge, Science and Nature.
