Our University is the patron of the scientific and conference center in Palczew, located about 60 km from Warsaw in the direction of Radom. This is a beautiful historic mansion located in a five-hectare park in the Pilica Valley, about 1 km from the river. It is a place where WSTiJO students can undergo internships and professional training under the supervision of professional chefs and managers.
The White Palace in Palczew has professionally equipped kitchen and gastronomic facilities, conference and restaurant rooms. The facility has 16 rooms and a private SPA Zone. In addition, in the Park Pavilion, there is a gastronomic and conference facility where students can gain culinary and waitressing skills, learning to handle large events such as weddings, banquets, or conferences. Depending on their specialty, students will learn practical aspects of professions – cook, waiter, room manager, or hotel and restaurant manager. They have the opportunity to get to know the professional hotel guest service from behind the scenes, learn about reservation systems in tourism and how to manage them. Moreover, they will learn the principles of the SPA Zone and biological renewal operation – the fastest-growing branch of tourism.
